This December we ran a simple experiment. We opened four engagement principles behind our best gamified and AI-driven projects.
One secret per week. One real case study. One clear takeaway.
If you missed any week, here’s the full calendar in one newsletter post.
😍 Secret #1: Make people smile, and they will open their heart. And your content.
Most brands want attention. Very few actually earn it. If an experience is playful and a bit unexpected, people drop their guard.
They stop scanning and start feeling. If you make them smile in the first seconds, they’ll give you permission to teach, explain and sell in the next minutes.
Example: Sava Insurance - Gamified Book Project. A holiday activity book filled with games, colorings, stickers, a fold-out board game and small digital tools helped families smile, connect and spend time together.
Result was thousands of happy families, and tons of useful data for the sales team.

❤️ Secret #2: Make them the heroes, not just viewers.
Most content talks at people. Great experiences actively include them.
When people feel their choice matters, when their action shapes the outcome, they lean in. They engage deeper. They remember more. Participation is the highest form of attention.
Example: Junior Argeta Plush AI App. Kids could scan their plush toy, unlock missions, interact with an AI character and build their own stories in real time.
Passive viewing turned into active participation. And yes. It drove repeat use. And sales. In collaboration with Luna/TBWA.

🏆 Secret #3. Give them reason to continue.
Most branded content is a moment. Great experiences are a journey. People stay when they feel they’re moving. A point earned. A level unlocked. A step completed. Progress. Even tiny, symbolic progress. Tells the brain: “You’re getting somewhere. Don’t stop now.”
Example. A1 Spletne brihte. A safe digital world where kids learn online safety through play.
Quality content, rewards for knowledge, badges for perseverance, multiple levels and a safe environment to grow at their own pace. Kids, parents and teachers returned daily. And spent 12+ minutes per session building skills.

✨ Secret #4. Make the ending unforgettable.
People mostly remember two moments: the beginning, and the end.
A delightful ending rewrites the entire journey. A final surprise. A closing animation. A personalised message. A badge that completes the set. When the ending feels meaningful, the whole experience feels meaningful. This is how visitors become fans. And fans become advocates.
Example. Lidl Christmas AI Wish Generator. An AI tool that helped people write Christmas wishes for loved ones.
Then came the twist. After the wish was generated, people could make it their own. Adjust the tone. Change the colours. Rewrite the text. Add their message. Download it, email it, or post it directly to social media. That final creative touch gave ownership. And turned a simple tool into a warm, shareable ritual.
